Normally I am a huge fan of products from InstaNatural. Yes the product is a good thermal protector spray, but feel it needs to be tweaked. Have to say I love the scent of this thermal spray. It smells amazing. Do wish that the spray had a finer mist to it. Sure it protects your hair, but it also leaves a sticky feeling to my hair. Tried adding much less, and hold the product even further from my hair, but still experience this sticky/tacky feeling. No it’s not a bad product, but it needs to be redeveloped.

Disclosure: I received this product at a discounted price in exchange for an honest, unbiased product review.

Good morning everyone & happy Sunday. Time for another product review. Today’s product is Gurin Ceramic Flat Iron with Tourmaline.

What is it? A flat iron? No it’s so much for than just a flat iron. With this tool you can of course straighten, but also curl, flip etc. Find it to be a great multi purpose styling tool.

gur2

Let’s talk about the Gurin’s specs. So the plates are 1.25 inches ceramic infused with tourmaline. Plates are floating plates, and have a bevel to them. Bevel plates allow you to do the curls, and flips. Gurin is also dual voltage so it’s great to take with you while traveling abroad.

Pros: This tool heats up very quickly. Hair will look shiner with use. The plates float. With this tool my hair did not snag in the plates. Could easily straighten my hair with one pass. Plates easily allow you to curl hair.

Cons: One of the main cons has to do with temperature. The dial list 140 at the lowest, and 450 at highest. It has no areas to suggest what temperature you could be using. On & Off button is on the inside of the tool, and there is no auto off.

Listen I have yet to find one flat iron or styling tool that has everything that I need. Keeping that in mind this is a great tool. If it can straighten my hair in one pass… it’s a good tool. Would highly suggest the Gurin to anyone just getting into styling their hair.

Below I shall place a link to buy the Gurin flat iron on amazon.

Want to thank Gurin for allowing myself to review their flat iron, and to all of my friends for stopping by. Stay blessed!

Product Review: Banish your gray & roots easily with… Cover your gray…..

Many if not most of us change the color of our natural hair or like to cover up pesky gray hairs. Normally having a salon service can be very expensive. Often retouching regrowth/roots or gray hairs can cost just as much as a full head application. I personally don’t have that type of money or time.

Over the past few days I have been using a terrific product called, “Cover your gray.” Yes this product is terrific for covering up grays, but also good for touching up roots/regrowth. Fell another unique aspect of this product is that it’s waterproof, and last up to three washes. I selected to try the black color.

Like how, “Cover your gray” is very easy to use. Actually you can’t make a mistake using this product. Simply apply short strokes to gray roots at your hairline & parting line. Next you will come through hair, and allow to dry for a few minutes. Within the product range they have different application styles. My favorite is the doe foot applicator. There is also a pencil style, and a mascara style wand. All will give you the same beautiful color it really comes to your own preference.

Now let’s talk about colors, “Cover your gray” comes in black, dark brown, medium brown & blonde. While my hair is not jet black it’s definitely not dark brown. I choose to use the black. True my hair is not jet black, but the color still seamless blends. Using this product I can stretch out visits to the salon, and save lots of money. The color never ran, and was not messy.

Before Cover your gray

Have to say I am loving, “Cover your gray.” It’s easy to use. A little goes a very long way with, “Cover your gray.” The pigments in it are rich, and beautiful. Personally I was able to wash my hair 4 times before the product was washed out of my hair. Think of this product as a way to stretch out salon visits.
